I am grateful for a long life, many friendships and interesting activities. In February 2013 I began dialysis three times a week at East End Dialysis Center. There I became active in the patient support group, reaching out to others with this challenge.
Hours on dialysis call attention to the impermanence of life and the importance of appreciating every moment. I have designed this website as a way of sharing my life with family and friends, with the intention of portraying aging as the summit of life—that a life well lived can be an inspiration not only for family and friends, but a source of gratitude for the one who lives it. In so doing, I am transforming the experience of becoming complete with life from sorrow to celebration, that there may also be joy in the journey of letting go.
